Meet the Staff

Wayman Crow Professional Staff

Residential College Directors (RCDs) are full-time student affairs professionals with significant experience in residential life and student development. RCDs manage the day-to-day operations of the residential college, supervise the RAs, and are responsible for overseeing the maintenance of their facilities. RCDs assist students in the development of programs, advise the College Council, and handle student concerns and conduct.

The Graduate Fellow (GF) is responsible for enhancing the academic environment as well as co-curricular experiences of residents in Wayman Crow Residential College. The Graduate Fellow reports to the Residential College Director (RCD), and works with the Faculty Fellow, Faculty Associates, Resident Advisors (RAs), and other residential leaders to develop communities that support the academic and personal growth of residents. The Graduate Fellow supervises the Residential Peer Mentors and Residential Peer Health Educators and co-advises the Residential College Council.

Wayman Crow Resident Advisors

Resident Advisors (RAs) are juniors and seniors appointed to be an academic, mental and social resource for residents living on their floors. The RAs are also responsible for putting together activities and programs that will encourage personal growth and development. The programming efforts are focused on the six following areas: physical, emotional, life-planning, intellectual, social, and cultural wellness.

Wayman Crow Student Staff

Residential Peer Mentors (RPMs) are upperclass students that serve as academic mentors for first-year students. Their main areas of focus are calculus, chemistry, writing, and physics courses. They facilitate workshops and work sessions, conduct individual mentoring sessions, create and maintain office hours, and participate in the activities of the residential college. 

Residential Peer Health Educator (RPHEs) are upperclass students selected and trained to facilitate on-campus workshops, prevention programs and other events that deal with a variety of topic areas. The RPHEs inform students of health issues concerning alcohol and other drugs, body image and eating disorders, sexuality, stress and stress management, fitness/exercise and nutrition by providing beneficial campus resources.

The Student Technology Coordinator (STC) is a sophomore, junior, or senior level student, trained to work with students to enhance their academic and residential experience and help them successfully transition into and through Washington University. The primary role of the Technology Coordinator is focused on providing access to technology resources, information and training. Washington University Student Associates

WashU Student Associates (WUSAs) assist first-year students in the transition to college.  They serve as both orientation ambassadors and peer advisors throughout the year.  WUSAs are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, courteous, efficient, and committed to making the transition as smooth as possible.  They work with the Resident Advisors to be a resource for all of the students.
