February 2009 Crow of the Month

Erica Sandrock

ericasandrock2

Stephanie Paul, Dardick 1 RA, said, "Erica has always been a strong presence on the floor - coming to every floor program and rarely missing a floor brunch. For our most recent Family Night Erica went above and beyond and cooked a delicious dinner for the entire floor to enjoy. Erica has been planning this for quite some time, and when the initial dinner fell through, she would not let me forget to reschedule the date. Not only does Erica work to bring our Crow community closer together, but she has been getting very involved with the WashU community as a whole, recently appointed a position on Dance Marathon Exec Board. Regardless of the circumstances, you can always count on Erica to greet you with a hug and a bright and smiling face.”

Avi Silber

Ciara Caprara, Nemerov 4 RA, said, “As a new member of the Wayman Crow family, Avi has done an exceptional job of making this a home for him and his suite, as well as the rest of Nemerov 4. When new residents came to our floor midway through the year, Avi was one of the first to welcome them and offered up his music and video games as a way to connect to these residents on the floor. He has also offered assistance for ResCollege events, like driving singing girls to see Legally Blonde: the Musical and helping make ice cream at our Wayman Crow Anniversary event. His positive attitude and willingness to help others has made him an indispensable member of the Nemerov 4 and Wayman Crow community.”

Rebecca Hunter

rebeccahunter

Stephanie Paul, Dardick 1 RA, nominated Rebecca for September's Crow of the Month Award.  Stephanie wrote, "My freshmen year I didn't even know my floor had a College Council Representative. But Rebecca Hunter has been the exact opposite. Since she doesn't live on our floor, she planned a program where she baked brownies and cookies and walked around meeting each and every person on our floor.  She approaches everyone with a smile, a positive attitude, and a willingness to help in any way she can. Rebecca is often visible on the floor, keeps us up to date, and is open to listening to any suggestions the Dardick 1 residents may have.  I couldn't ask for a better floor representative than Rebecca!"
